I laughed a lot at this movie, especially the sequence at the party. Ryan Gosling can pull comedy off very well, and he has great chemistry with Russell Crowe. Ultimately what kept me from liking it more is the plot in the second half, which goes off the rails a bit.
It got less goofy and more about the endless shootouts. I think Kiss Kiss Bang Bang is a better Shane Black movie, but this one is entertaining and funny.
