Review of The Natural (1984) by Ifiok O — 21 Oct 2009
Honestly, as much as this movie tries to use the mythological archetypes to tell this sports story, it comes off as too over the top. I mean, it's an okay movie, and I enjoyed some of the performances, but the movie goes way overboard to try to make the character larger than life; I mean, almost Biblical proportions.
Still, not a bad movie.
