A good movie the crosses generations. Definitely surprised to see how good Kal Penn is in a dramatic role! The movie is both touchingly romantic yet educational about the problems of acclimatizing to a new culture, though as one reviewer put it, by the end of the movie it leaves you wanting to read the book to find out what was left out of the film!
