Review of The Name of the Rose (1986) by Anders A — 16 Aug 2016
Impeccable feature based on the novel with the same name, written by the Italian mastermind Umberto Eco. Set in the 12th century northern Italy, it's convertion to movie, is overall a giant challange.
Though the surroundings and custumes/looks are truthfully geniune. The storyline do not either move, takenly apart from the original novel, and yet manages to keep the vision fully alive.
