Review of The Musketeer (2001) by Kristy P — 26 Jun 2010
A very different re-imagining of the Dumas classic. Many many liberties were taken with the plot, which was a bit muddled thanks to the editing. The acting was a little unconvincing and all of the characters seemed to have been completely rewritten, Aramis and Porthos particularly seemed like henchmen from a Bond film.
But if you can forgive that it was quite entertaining, and unless you're a Musketeers purest you probably won't be too disappointed with it.
