Review of The Mouse That Roared (1959) by Caroline K — 06 Jun 2011
Love it. sweet and funny..a ''mr nobody'', full of self belief and misplaced loyalty, thwarts the expectations of a (small) nation by winning through. Maybe not enough sex, violence or crudity for todays audience.
...but does that make it a bad film? Surely not !(Also my dad, Timothy Bateson was in it, and he and mr Sellars became great pals.....but I'm not biased at all!!).
