Review of The Mouse That Roared (1959) by Kannuri K — 31 May 2011
Phenomenal....The film stands on the words"The true stature of war is to win the peace".The film comes up with a concept of maintenance of the nuclear weapons of the first world by the smaller nations.
The film makers achieved success by giving a comical touch to such intellect and serious issues. There is a tragically comedy situation where the Fenwick get supported by the entire nations against the america which is the high light of the film .
The title is justified right from the production title card, where the lady with a electric light in hand of the production house get horrified by the mouse. The actual justification done by the mouse is in the climax which changes the entire fate of the World.
