Not a good story tell. This seemed geared to the chinese market which has some censorship issues. The script was not bad, it was just to 'sanitized' for my taste. I mean if the female lead and male lead have an atraction developing why is there no payoff kiss? Why does the female lead not show any kind of interest.
If she did, it was so muted as to come off as attraction is shown in chinese market media. Don't bring that krapola to the american market. If you want to make a movie the Chinese govt won't ban, make one for their market and one for the Western market.
... That mess was a wast of my $.
