Total let-down. We go to shark movies to see gore and carnage, not to see everyone make it out alive. There's no way that many people could have come in that close contact with a Megaladon and gotten away with their lives.

Millions of years of honed skills, size, instinct and speed...and apparently this shark couldn't keep anyone from getting away from him. And really, the 3 pound dog makes it paddling around in the ocean that long, with the shark on the loose, really? Even Jaws was much more thrilling and frightening in the 70's! I was very disappointed.
