Review of The Maltese Falcon (1941) by Daniel W — 21 Feb 2010
Smart dialogues that become much too iconic to the image of Bogart, and the dangerous Mary Astor. All in all a stunning detective film for its time, nothing fancy but straight and direct. Simply stylish in plot and characters.
I am surprised that Bogart did quite some good fighting moves!
