Review of The Maltese Falcon (1941) by Mike V — 23 Aug 2017
This mystery film noir moves at a fast pace and features a clever screenplay providing both tension and humour between the characters. Bogart is very convincing in his role, but I wasn't so sure about the casting of Astor.
Although the plot/dialogue is sometimes a little hard to follow, this is a thoroughly enjoyable and entertaining mystery thriller. Considered to be one of the best movies of all time, and one of the top 10 mystery movies of all time.
AAN 1001.
