Review of The Maltese Falcon (1941) by Russ B — 24 Aug 2010
The film that started the "Film Noir" movement in Hollywood, this classic "B" remake of a really poor first effort of Dashill Hammett's classic book is full of great moments. With a cast of Peter Lorre, Sidney Greenstreet, (In his first movie!), Ward bond, (What classic film isn't Ward Bond in?) and Mary Astor and Humphrey Bogat.
...BOGART!!! This is a classic with a great script by John Huston!
