It is incredibly sad because it is true, and based on real life characters and what they went through in these hell-shops run by the Catholic church in Ireland. The performances are heart-wrenching. NOTE: The original Documentary about the Magdalene homes is in the special features on the same disc.
THIS was what I liked the best. You will see interviewed the actual women (now elderly) portrayed in the movie.
