Review of The Magdalene Sisters (2002) by Mai M — 05 Sep 2011
The story is seemingly simple at first. You begin by thinking that you are aware of the injustices and accept them, regarding them as something trivial, changing and resolving itself in time and in culture.
It isn't too clear until the middle that you begin to feel that there is something terribly wrong, not just an injustice as you once thought but madness instead.
