Billy Wilder is definitely one of my favourite directors. I wouldn't rank this up there with Sunset Blvd. or Double Indemnity, but it's worth a viewing. This film following an alcoholic as he lies and steals his way through a weekend bender is interesting, even if it is a bit overwrought.
