Review of The Lost Weekend (1945) by Alan Z — 13 Aug 2013
This movie makes you feel sorry for the guy because transmits that touch of pitty to the audience, It is visually amazing and profound. Ray Milland makes one of the greatest performances ever brought to the screen, he gives interpretive strength to the weak and pitiful character he portrays.
It is a very realistic movie...at least of its time.
