Review of The Long Goodbye (1973) by Andrew L — 08 Jul 2007
It has everything - Elliott Gould unable to stop himself laughing at one of the serious moments - the doorbell at the beach house playing the theme from the movie - Nina's voice - an existential experience - the freaky little doctor slapping Sterling Hayden - a squashy giant shell of a haunted man - and the ending - Aah, tis a wonder to behold.
All involved should be proud.
