A great Robert Altman film from 1973 and it is an awesome look back to a simpler time. This update of the Raymond Chandler classic has a hip Elliott Gould playing legendary Gumshoe, Phillip Marlowe. Mumbling cynical platitudes while chain smoking cigs, Marlowe is a rumpled classic.
