Review of The Long Goodbye (1973) by Shawn M — 21 Jul 2008
I love the opening sequence with the cat. Now that cat knows a thing or two about acting. His little finicky routine is dead on. Anywho, I'm not familiar with the Marlowe character but Eliott Gould is simply brilliant as this lonely, out-of-it private eye who's always got something smart to say.
He really makes the film in my opinion. And that's all right with me...
