Pithy review: wish this had been a short goodbye......
Perhaps i'm one of the chandler "purists" (even tho' I hasn't thrilled with the book either)...gould is fine but his wisecracking marlowe wore thin after awhile...hayden seemed really out of place as roger wade also. I did enjoy catching the young arnold's cameo however.....
