Review of The Long Goodbye (1973) by Mike L — 20 Sep 2013
A noir filtered through the mind of Robert Altman, under his unconventional direction. Full of irony, the atmospheres are magnetic and the characters more important than the intrigue, the protagonist is one of the coolest detective of the entire cinema.
The rhythm is leisurely but steady, one of the best Altman's movies.
