Not a bad film from Tony Richardson...part of the British "New Wave" in the late 50's and 60's...there are parts that seem out of place with the tone of the "kitchen sink realism" aethestic that most of the film strives for.
..such as spead up sequences to enhance the comedic aspect of certain scenes...overall though good film..
