Review of The Legend of Tarzan (2016) by Nicole T — 04 Apr 2017

I cannot believe all the negative comments based around this movie - it is a great movie period. The action is heart pounding, most of the dialogue is terrific and the scenery is beautiful. I have never been a big Tarzan fan which is why I haven't seen the movie till now but this movie actually made me one.

This makes me even more confused now about all the low scores and bad reviews. I only started watching it because I was channel surfing and saw Samuel L Jackson and didn't recognize the movie. Turns out that was pretty much the beginning of the movie and instantly it kept me entertained and wanting to see more.

Plus now, after recently watching Batman vs Superman, you come to realize that Tarzan is really the first superhero to be created anyway and why on earth he's not considered one is beyond me. He's basically Batman/Aquaman of the jungle and this movie is 10x's better than Dawn of Justice.

..esp if you want to talk about boring plot and bad CGI! Anyway, the movie, director, actors and everyone really involved with this deserve much more than what they were given overall. I can't wait to watch it again and right there is when you know a movie is above average and worthy of your time.
