What a performance piece from Whitaker. Mcavoy is a little lost with his performance during the quiet parts but redeems himself towards the end. The torture scene in the last act would even make Saw fans squirm!
THe movie has some mistakes, but it's a strong vehicle for Whitaker and an even stronger one for Macdonald.
