Review of The Lady Vanishes (1938) by Jerome S — 26 Apr 2008
This is Hitch in his most prolific period before coming to Hollywood. The basic premise of a person vanishing on a train and no one but one character remembering her has been copied in varying manners many, many times in other movies since, including a remake by the same title and Flightplan.
All in all a delightful and still humorous movie with all the suspense you expect from the master.
