Review of The Lady Vanishes (1938) by Sgt. C — 27 Dec 2014
Classic Hitchcock thriller that is superbly set up and delivers brilliantly. It shows early signs of the traits that were to be consistently improved and tightened; especially in during the chaos of the last third which isn't quite as taught as it should be.
Nevertheless an effective mystery with a host of nicely rounded characters albeit most are here for comic relief.
