Review of The Lady Vanishes (1938) by Simeon D — 08 Feb 2011
Typical Hitchcockian masterpiece. For a movie that took place in such a confined space, the characters had to be great, which they were. I feel the characters in this drove the movie even more than the story at some points.
It started out sort of slow, but you knew that wouldn't last long because of who made it, and the end did not disappoint at all. Actually, the end quarter of the movie was almost over the top ridiculous.
