Review of The Killing Fields (1984) by Amy H — 08 Jul 2007
A wonderful, though sanitized, account of the Khmer Rouge atrocities in Cambodia, it made more personal by being told through the eyes of someone who actually experienced it. Haing S. Ngor brought his own experiences to his character in a touching, but not overly dramatic, way.
