Review of The Killing Fields (1984) by Kelly R — 28 Sep 2011
I thought this film was very well done. It was extremely emotional and moving. I cannot imagine the strength and courage it took the men on which the film was based to survive this awful time in Cambodia.
Knowing about this historical tragedy is extremely important for all. Understanding world tragedies makes us more aware of third world countries and horrific news stories in the media today. It is important to witness more serious media that focuses on true stories, heart-wrenching tales, instead of reality TV and the latest trends.
