I'll be the first to admit that I know nothing about Jane Austen & all the references to Mr.Darcy despite watching both bridget jones and a few (now forgotten) renditions of p(b)ride & prejudice.
.. which is perhaps the reason I enjoyed this movie very much. because it's not by austen, nor about her, but a bunch of her readers from all walks of life.
