Review of The Internship (2013) by Tab R — 07 Feb 2014
I really loved Wedding Crashers, as did most people, so the idea of partnering Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson up again was a no-brainer. This film starts off with a lot of the same charm as Wedding Crashers, but the whole Google plot seems like a marketing pitch to the public.
I saw the unrated version which was a solid R, rather than the PG-13 version in the theaters and I'm sure this version is better. The plot is pretty predictable and the story is where this film really loses points in my opinion.
Overall it was still an entertaining comedy and Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson are solid in their roles once again.
