Review of The Intern (2010) by Chris F — 14 Feb 2016

The Intern is exactly what you would expect. An enjoyable dramedy with very little substance. I really enjoyed the performances of Robert De Niro and Anne Hathaway. They have really good chemistry together.

If they weren't in this movie, I wouldn't have liked this movie as much. The whole cast was very good in their respective roles. The story was ok. It wasn't anything special. You knew exactly what was going to happen.

Sometimes, though, it was a little too melodramatic. The drama and comedy did balance out well. Overall, this is a lightweight film with two great leads. This is a nice movie to check out. It isn't spectacular, but it still is a decent film.
