Review of Unforgettable (2017) by Chris F — 16 Aug 2017
Unforgettable is another generic romantic thriller. I don't know why Rosario Dawson did this movie. She was good in it, but she is definitely better than the material. Katherine Heigl is very over the top, which is good and bad at some points.
Sometimes it fits while other times it doesn't. The film does nothing new with the genre. You know exactly how it starts and ends. It was very predictable, especially the ending. The film also sets up for a sequel in the end, which makes absolutely no sense.
Overall, the film ends up being very forgettable. Sometimes there is dumb fun, but not enough. The film is another generic romantic thriller that doesn't distinguish itself from other film's in the genre.
