Review of The Hurt Locker (2008) by R. S — 23 Oct 2013
I like war movies when they are done right, and this one is done right. What bugged me about it was the structure. It is aimless and I guess maybe thats the point but because of that I felt this movie really dragged on.
There is realism in there and I guess thats what had me enjoy it and the intimacy in a war movie is a welcomed change. I wouldn't say it was great but its decent. All in all, I didn't feel for the characters and I guess thats what was missing for me.
Heart.
