Review of The Hurt Locker (2008) by Salman F — 06 Oct 2018
Apart from "The Hurt Locker" is too appreciated by many people even won six Oscar awards with four nominations, it's a movie that such a movie. "The Hurt Locker" for me is a decent movie I can't understand for whom the film is intended.
However, Kathryn Bigelow minimized everything in the film, from the scoring, the quiet atmosphere, and the shaky cam cinematography that seemed to be documentary-style so that it seemed as if a war film was, of course, a war.
On the other hand, I don't really agree from people who say this is the most realistic war film ever seen, despite the fact that the film received critical acclaim from critics, people and veterans alike.
With a good performance, "The Hurt Locker" is a decent war movie clad in a scale of so epic about brutality, randomness, and claustrophobic apart from a broad background but feels narrow with a unique concept and fresh about the struggle of an EOD and quite dramatic.
It's a movie that combines what realism and fiction.
