Review of The Hunger (1983) by Samuel G — 28 Oct 2009
Stylish almost to a fault - is there a single shot in the entire movie that doesn't feature curtains flowing in the wind? - but then this is a vampire movie; too much mood is far preferable to not enough.
Bonus cheek points for getting "Disco Group" Bauhaus (presumably billed as such because they were the group playing in the club/discotheque?) to open the film with "Bela Lugosi's Dead.
".
