Review of The Hunchback of Notre Dame (1939) by Nick K — 19 Feb 2011
Prior to seeing this, the only version of the movie that I ever saw was the Disney version which I was less than thrilled by. I now realize that that version was toned down in a number of areas to appeal to and be appropriate for children.
The story is great and so is the acting. Overall, a very captivating movie.
