The only reason I didn't give this movie 5 stars was because I felt that I needed to know a little more about Korean families and culture to understand the subtext. It is a well directed version of the environmental monster movies that were popular 30 years ago.
Forget Cloverfield; if you want to see monster rampage a city in a thoughtful well directed way then this is your film.
