A very interesting movie. For the most part it's not about the monster - it's about what? Hmm, so many things.... Life, the stupidity of bureaucracy, US interference and people in general. The characters are all very human and some realistically sad things happen while they are being truly heroic.
It's well worth watching for the monster itself, which is fantastic.
