Review of The Heiress (1949) by Joe P — 13 Jul 2007
So what if it doesn't closely resemble the book (washington square by henry james)? the book isn't that great anyway. I love how olivia de havilland transforms in this--besides which she's named after me.
ralph richardson does a spectacular job and fits this character much better than the one he played in anna karenina.
