Review of The Heiress (1949) by I Don't Know W — 19 Jul 2011
The Heiress is a brilliant film. It is about a naive young woman who falls in love with a handsome young man and her emotionally abusive father suspects a fortune hunter. Olivia de Havilland and Montgomery Clift give incredible performances.
The screenplay is well written and touching. William Wyler did an amazing job directing this movie. I enjoyed watching this motion picture because of the drama and romance. The Heiress is a must see.
