Without a doubt one of the scarest films to watch in the dark! Hard to believe, no buckets of blood, no boring chopping up of limbs, no recurring craeture who never dies, etc. It is pure mind mess! The film is rated G, iI show it to my students every year to prepare them for writing descriptive thrillers, and it never fails to deliver shouts, jumps, and yes, even screams! The re-make a few years ago was a dismal attempt to fix something that wasn't broke!
