Review of The Haunting (1963) by Andy F — 05 Sep 2012
The Haunting is a great film, no doubt about that, but it has always to play second fiddle to it being based on arguably the greatest horror novel of all time - The Haunting of Hill House by Shirley Jackson.
The film almost pulls off an amazing achievement and is truly terrifying in a less is more fashion. The odd dull performance aside, The Haunting is still an extremely worthwhile film.
