Review of The Haunting (1963) by Pawnshop1977 — 12 May 2021

This is my favorite supernatural horror movie of all time. Don't bother with the 1999 version as it's not even close. This black and white original does an incredible job of scaring you with what's not shown, even though there are some special effects that are amazing for 1963.

The entire movie has such a great build up and ending. It is 100% a classic horror movie that you must absolutely see to understand what can be done without blood and guts. Turn out the lights, turn up the sound, and experience the masterful direction of Robert Wise at his prime.
