Review of The Haunting (1963) by Movie K — 13 Mar 2016
This motion picture is not scary and has it has too many slow literary parts, but it is nonetheless creepy and interesting. The great acting (Claire BLOOM is magnificent) and the excellent directing drive the storyline; the black-and-white shouting and the minimal, suggestive special effects maintain an ominous tone throughout the movie.
