It has a fantastic premise and has a great atmosphere for a story to develop. But nothing of that sort happens. Basically nothing happened in the Hill House that grabbed my attention for long. The light humor was a respite, though.
Some great production design and camera techniques, but that's all that is impressive about this "cult classic".
