Review of The Haunting (1963) by Ross M — 02 Oct 2016
I love this movie. While I have a soft spot for horror films of the 50s and 60s, I'll be the first to admit that they typically have serious pacing issues, hilariously overwhelming musical queues, and rather painful exposition dumps that can easily take a modern audience out of the intended experience.
The Haunting manages to avoid most of those pitfalls and remains a genuinely creepy, and fun, horror film. 5 stars.
