Plain and simple, the critics totally missed the point of this movie. This is one of the most entertaining, delightful, heartwarming movies I have ever seen. I generally don't like musical movies, but this one has such great energy and infectiously catchy songs you will do well if you can resist running straight out and buying the soundtrack. The Greatest Showman is not only one of the best musical movies I have seen but is now one of my favourite movies of all time. IGNORE THE CRITICS and do your self a favour!
