Review of The Great Gatsby (1974) by Deadly Night S — 08 Feb 2010
This one was slightly melodramatic as far as the acting went, but I can see why it's believed to be the best adaptation of the fantastic novel we currently have. I'm always amazed, though, when the books seems to progress at a quicker pace than the movie. The film was a little lengthy and probably dragged in places it didn't need to drag. Of course, the book is still the best; if you want the whole story go to the source.
On a side-note: I hear that this book is going to be made into a movie yet again this year. Maybe they can do it better justice???
