Review of The Great Gatsby (1974) by Jose M — 21 Aug 2013
I don't know about, but I actually liked Robert Redford as the (ill-fated) self made millionaire Jay Gatsby. The Great Gatsby has the look and sound of the 20s although the film's slow pacing will have you clawing your chair.
This may be attributed to director Jay Clayton or Francis Ford Coppola's screenplay which is faithful to the novel by F. Scott Fitzgerald. The more time passed by the more I liked the moved, weird.
